Welcome to 2019! This is the year you finally finish all of those home projects you’ve been dreaming about. With a little help, of course. At KCCS Construction, we can help you cross these (and other) items off your list in the new year. To get started, why don’t we…
Improve Your Home’s Organization
While there are many ways to accomplish this, one of the first steps is always to clear away the clutter. Then, we can really see the space we’re working with and have room to install new storage solutions. Pay special attention to areas that seem to attract clutter. That indicates an underlying dysfunction that we’ll need to address to maintain your organization once the project is finished. Depending on the problem, we might be able to fix it with additional cabinetry, more streamlined living spaces, or just the right accessories. Otherwise, we can plan a more detailed renovation that completely transforms the space—and your organization. At least, you’ll already have cleared the room so we can start right away!
Enhance Your Entertaining Spaces
In 2019, it’s all about at-home entertaining. Let’s focus on your main living spaces to ensure all of your guests can fit comfortably! Since the kitchen is such a central feature, it’s the best place to start. Does yours feel outdated? Or cramped? We can fix that. Imagine what it will look like with specialty flooring, updated cabinetry, new appliances, and a fresh coat of paint to bring it all together. We can even rearrange the room to improve the flow of traffic for both your everyday and entertaining needs. After we handle all of the major renovations, all you have to do is show off your new kitchen!
Think about Indoor/Outdoor Living
This is one trend that’s still going strong in the new year. It’s amazing how much more space you have when your interior design carries effortlessly to the outdoors. So far, we’ve seen much more luxurious furnishings outside to create an additional living room or even kitchen on a porch, deck, or patio. However, you don’t have to break the budget to achieve this feel. Try just improving upon your existing exterior structures with some new decorations and an architectural element that connects the two spaces. Like large French doors and/or an awning. Awnings are great additions that often get overlooked. Not only do they protect outdoor areas in rain or shine, but they’re also very versatile today. Don’t get too caught up on the traditional look. It’s 2019, after all! We have a wide range of styles for you to choose from.
If you need help with any of these projects in the new year, don’t hesitate to contact us! At KCCS Construction, we’re happy to work within your design needs and budget. Whether it’s a complete renovation or simple handyman tasks. We hope you all have a very happy new year!
